El test de sonido es así, por que lo está haciendo con 200mA.Que es lo indicado para comprobar continuidad en conductores de tierra. Esto lo tenía también el Fluke 1507, pero en el 1587Fc lo eliminaron. También eliminaron los 10Gohms 1000v, por 2.2 GOhms 1000v.

Im glad to see you were able to upgrade.

When you see the continuity speed tests done on DMM’s thats to demonstrate how fast its capable sliding across pcb traces and IC’s when troubleshooting MCU. So speed is not really a necessity for a electrician unless dealing with component level troubleshooting which at that point you’d never want insulation tester anywhere close a raw pcb.

When considering the tests you plan on demonstrating, dont forget that the Megger has a 60 sec Time base test, that is different than the pi and dar tests in that it is not a ratio its straight resistance. The Time test is the proper way cable/wires should be tested. Not pi or dar.

Good introduction to the MIT430/2. It will be interesting to see what you think of it for your line of work. I will leave you to decide for yourself how it compares to the Fluke 1587FC.
