It already changed. Rich individuals and companies with very high paid workers came and ruined the housing market in a degree where Cypriots can't afford to even rent

Cyprus has changed, beyond recognition, and not for the better. Investors cash flooded the country, resulting in apartment blocks and houses springing up on every spare piece of land, most for short term rentals. Tourism is down! Apartments blocks lie empty. Llocals cannot afford to buy or rent, tourists soon move on to other destinations.

We don't need these deceitful forex-style "investors" in Cyprus. They skew the local housing market, rendering it difficult for residents to purchase homes. This isn't the kind of growth we, as Cypriots, need.
