The Ahmed III Fountain, also known as the Tarihi Sultanahmet Çeşmesi or Historical Sultanahmet Fountain, is a beautiful Ottoman-era fountain located in the Sultanahmet Square in Istanbul, Turkey.

The fountain was built in the early 18th century during the reign of Sultan Ahmed III, between 1728 and 1732, and was designed by the court architect Mehmed Ağa. The fountain is made of white marble and features a large dome supported by eight pillars.

The Ahmed III Fountain was built to provide clean drinking water to the local residents and to visitors of Istanbul. At the time it was built, it was one of the largest fountains in Istanbul and was considered a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture.
