I worked at HOU with Texas International and Continental for many years and we'd walk by the terminal from one hangar to the other and always loved the Art Deco construction. We used to perform X-rays of our A/C at night in the area the plane is now sitting. Years of rumors about restoring the building finally happened and I'm really glad the old girl looks so nice now.

My first solo controlled field take-off with 12 hrs total time in crosswind. That terminal had a WW Two Link trainer at that time.
