Personally I like doing online events over in-person. I mean I do like doing in-person conferences especially if it involves actually doing something -- say shooting/photographing -- but some, like learning software and editing, I actaully sort of prefer to do online because I can follow along on my computer (could be done in person too, but I think online is a bit better personally, plus I dont have to pay for for the travel expenses associated with attending an in-person event, although there are other benefits to doing even software training/conferences in person -- ie. you can ask questions in real time). But for example, I did the ClickCon conference that you mentioned in a previous episode a few months ago, just the hotel reservations and cost for meals was about $900 alone, and that doesn't even include the ticket price for the conference, airfare and other misc stuff. But that was also a hands-on-shooting conference.
