vinegar is actually based on a plugin called netrw that is shipped with vim.

Thanks for sharing this. By the way, are you using tmux or some other terminal multiplexer or are these customized vim tabs?

I recommend checking out unite.vim by Shougo: recursive fuzzy matching files, easy switching between files in buffer, mru, select files and open them in new split window or new tab or grep and much more. Everything with single plugin.

thanks. I downloaded ctrlp, but never used it. I used to do the :Ex   or :Sex to open a browser within vim.

I'd recommend using LeaderF to replace the ctrlp, LeaderF is much faster and asynchronous, especially, the fuzzy match algorithm of LeaderF is much better than ctrlp's, so that it can save your keystrokes to find the target file. Much more advantages you will find if you try.

What did you use to make a video that shows the keys that you're typing?

I have two directories, A and B, both of them have a.py and b.py respectively. I'm editing b.py, I try to find a.py and it doesn't work. Just wtf :)

How vim users behave: First they ditch IDE, then try to make vim into IDE using plugins ...
why ? coz it looks and sounds cool, tsk tsk
