My expectations are always sky high for Shadow of Intent, and they haven't disappointed once yet. This is by far and away, no exception. I saw that SOI was coming back this week, then I saw that there was some sort of sci-fi theme being re-introduced, and I was immediately interested. The result was better than I could've possibly imagined. This is one of the heaviest and gnarliest, and also most epic and cinematic tracks SOI has ever dropped, and I am in love with it. This song to me, is like if you took Primordial and Reclaimer, fused them with Elegy, added some Melancholy atmosphere to it, and then injected a heaping dose of Hollow Prophet filthiness, and the crew just went apeshit. THIS SONG, is fucking amazing. I love this band, and Ben wasn't lying when he said SOI would come back more angry and more heavy. It did, and it worked beautifully, alongside the orchestral elements and all that jazz.
