Can't believe this wonderful video hasn't received more likes. This is a difficult and challenging piece and Maestro Petrenko has the full measure of its many stops and starts and shifts of pace and mood. He gets a really superb performance from the orchestra, with the winds being in top form as they always are. Thanks for posting. This was a terrific way to start my day.

What a great performance of this magnificent masterpiece! Maestro Petrenko is such a gifted conductor. It is really heartening to see to, in that the majority of the players are younger people- bodes well for the continued vitality of Western Music! I love the sound of this orchestra, too. Thank you for posting this marvelous concert!

Bravo! With its constant changes of dynamics and tempi this work is devilishly difficult to play well for any orchestra. Petrenko obviously knows it very well and fully succeeds in getting across his ideas to the orchestra that responds expressively and seemingly effortlessly.

Bravisimos tanto el Maestro Petrenko como nuestra OSG. Cuantas orquestas desean que Petrenko les dirija? pues Srs, la Sinfónica de Galicia es una de las afortunadas, no hay más que ver con que autoridad dirige y lo bien que responde la orquesta. Gracias por mostrarnos esta obra de Chaikovski👋👋👋👋.
