when the paratroopers entered the old city, it was the small western wall that they prayed at. I joined a group of teenagers as a tag along one year and learned about the small western wall as we retraced the path of the paratroopers on Jerusalem day. And that is coolness in Israel

Oren! My family and I were there a month ago, and it is such a special place. We just made Aliyah from Alaska 7 months ago. We’ve been watching your videos for a couple of years now, and I remember the camping video outside of the University of Haifa with the wild boars. Now I live in Haifa! We love everything you do! Yes directly underneath the above ground area of the Kotel HaQatan, about 100 meters underground, is probably the most astoundingly beautiful synagogue in the world. And in front of that there is a place facing the wall where women daven in fervent prayer facing the Herodian stones, directly toward the Holy of Holies.
