Litespeed Bicycles Factory Tour

Litespeed Bicycles first took shape in 1986 - when a guy who wanted a better bike than he was riding at the time, took leftover titanium tubes from a chemical job to build a frame. After several frames were built, the first Litespeeds appeared at the 1987 Long Beach Bike show.

The company and its related titanium technology has improved considerably since that time - from legendary frames such as the road-going Ultimate, the first 6AL/4V frameset in the off-road Ocoee, and later to the Vortex and slippery Blade time trial frame.

2016 is here and the company has embraced the gravel cycling market in the T5G Gravel bike, most notably, the flat-mount disc brake version. JOM of the Gravel Cyclist crew took a factory tour earlier in 2016 and assembled a short video of Litespeed's old factory - just a few weeks later, the company relocated to a brand new facility near downtown Chattanooga... we may return for future visit.

how do you manage to have a perfect rounded botton bracket knowing that the welding process on this type of materials make it to kink, at least that what Mr. Hambini says on one of his you tube videos.

I had have two litespeed on my life, one was the capella held of a bike (alloy), and currently the m3 mmm second day of riding it, the botton bracket start to make a clicking noise, when droped to the factory they put some type of glue on it and its has work up to now, theres very little information about this bike m3 is so sad because I am wanting to put a Hambini botton bracket on it but am afraid that it will have the rounded shape issue on the botton bracket and wont fit.
