I was a huge fan of Pink Floyd for a long time and went to Roger's tour around 2017. It was great music and an absolutely disgraceful display of political vitriol. It took a while for me to realise wth had happened, but I didn't leave there with a good feeling. Although I had no polarising perception of Trump at that time, I still felt that it was a revolting and detracting display. A giant pig that had Trump written on it floated around the arena, there was graphic graffiti with hateful comments and distasteful words about Trump flashing on repeat on the big screens.. We went there to listen to amazing music, but we got a class in what Roger Waters believed about Trump. It wasn't cool, it wasn't nice, and even though I didn't like (or care about) Trump at the time, I disliked the concert even more for the meanness. It actually helped me understand how much Trump had to deal with and how unfair it was. It made me like Trump more and dislike Waters more. Hate doesn't win fans.
