*New* Phoenix, Yoru & KAY/O Buffs Gameplay! | VALORANT Patch 5.01 PBE

phoenix,yoru and kayo were buffed in patch 5.01, by a good amount. I luckily got access to PBE and captured gameplay comparision of the changes. Do sub if u found it useful!

Yoru Shadow Buffed Further - Invisibility Frame Cast is almost instant but buggy. bullets dont damage u the second u click ult, some util like raze ult damages, chamber and jett ult doesn't, buggy but yea another buff/bug.

The sad thing is, Phoenix will probably not be the best pick still. The buffs are great! but not that impactful in my opinion.

Edit: Since starting early in Valorant history originally as a Phoenix main it’s great to see him becoming a viable option once more! I do have concerns with the Yoru ult shorty combo returning and with how OP the buffed KAYO will be but just gotta wait and see!

Honsetly, the buffs are really good but I still think Phoenix whole set of abilities and how he's played is inferior to other duelists. Ofcourse his pick rate is gonna go up but I don't think he's gonna be in the meta for sure.

Lets go! The phoenix buff is huge, as the flash no longer takes too long to take effect and the kay/o buffs are good aswell. overall the changes that i see right now are very good. lets hope for the best for our boy cypher aswell.

edit: The Yoru buff is a small one but it has a huge effect on gameplay too.

Just a thought: Phoenix's Ult should refresh its duration if Phoenix kill an enemy. And Phoenix should have the ability to exit his ult where he is and not the ult anchor by pressing his ult again. And Phoenix should have the ability to control his E to drop down quickly like Fade's.

As a Yoru main these buffs are exactly what I wanted and I believe this is all the he really needs, this makes me soooo happy 😊

I also really like the Kay/O and Phoenix changes but I don’t really know how this will impact Phoenix, I could be wrong but at least for right now I’m in the mindset where Phoenix needs a completely rework for him to be back in the meta

When I saw "Phoenix buffs", I thought my eyes were tricking me 😅
The flash buff is exactly what I've been thiking he should get and am really happy to see it. The wall one is small, but welcome and, about the ult... he didn't come back with the shields when running it back... weird

Overall, I don't think Phoenix will see the light of day, yet, but it's nice to see Riot is paying attention to him

The Phoenix ult buff is actually huge and the flash duration is a great addition as well. I don't know if it was a great idea to buff two of the other agents that rival Phoenix (they basically do everything he does but better) along with him, but we'll see how it goes.
