Cala Murada is a beach of sand with some rocks at the sides, it is situated at the urbanization of Cales de Mallorca, at Manacor, at 8 kilometers from Portocolom. The beach is always clean and have an spectacular views. It is a very popular beach, so at high seasson its level of occupation its usually high.
On his right side it is sheltered by cliffs. A special feature of this coast it is the color of its waters, that due to the river mouth from Torrent des Fangar, divides the beach into a portion of salt and sweet water.
Near the beach I recommend visiting the Cova (Cave) of Cala Murada, it is a grotto dating from the Bronze Age excavated in rock. It was used by smugglers to hide merchandise.
