Celeste [PICO-8] | 2300M Alternate Path

At first, I watched video playthroughs that showed that the only way to get through 2300M was getting the strawberry with a very tricky dash method. When I talked with Luqualizer about this as I was attempting to do this, he said that it took about an hour for him with said method to get past it. As I was playing on the website version of this game during school, I eventually figured out a way to get past 2200M without having to get the strawberry. This video goes out to anyone who struggles with this stage (and those who reset the game oh so many times to get that trick successfully), and thanks for taking the time to watch this video!

One last thing, please note that this is not an optimal route for speedrunners, but rather for anyone who's casually playing this.

If you wall jump, boost vertically up that wall, then jump off towards the right and boost again you’ll land on the little platform. That’s the intended way to beat it

There's a much easier way: jump, left wall bounce, boost to right wall, right wall bounce, boost to top

Celeste Classic has spike clip tactics that nobody ever really pays close attention to. Spikes in Celeste Classic will not kill you if you are moving away from them. If you have a negative vertical velocity, but it isn't high enough for you to move, you will be able to spike clip, just as you see in this video. This is done by lining up the spikes with the apex of your dash. Pretty high tech.
