These days, Youtube seems to be full of of egotistical and obnoxious screamers more interested in themselves rather than their message. You sir are totally the opposite. Im glad I came across your channel. Your style is very calming and refreshing. When I left nearly 20 years ago, I went through tons of research. I actually ran a website for quite some time with most of that research on it. I did a couple of videos back in the day and although I feel qualified to do so, it is painful for me to drag up old memories. I think eventually, as you said in another video, you move on in your journey. When I first left I remember every tuesday and thursday night I would check the time and think to myself "I would have been at the meeting by now". Same on Sundays. Nowadays the thought of even being a witness seems so distant, I hardly recall it at all, but once in a while I will check in to see any latest developments. I could never have imagined feeling such a way whilst I was a Witness. Sometimes a song would pop into my head. This morning I woke up to Rejoice, you nations of his people, their kings have had their day' kingdom melody. I think that is how the lyrics went.

Well there we go, who would of thought that a governing body member would be a complete hypocrite. I say this in jest of course.
The poor sheep actually take this old clowns advice seriously about living a simple life in this time of the end etc etc, when behind those big mad eyes he's a property flipper, making the big bucks, for what - if he really believes that the big A is imminent.

My goodness that speech Lett gave about contentment and Jehovahs imminent 'calamity on all flesh', doesn't he seem nervous? There's an obvious conflict of interest there! *A property developer Governing Body member and giving lectures about being content with sustenance and shelter* !!

Really good job on this. I want to make another point about the hypocrisy of this behavior. It's my guess that the reason Stephen Lett has 250k to invest in the first place is that he was heir to his late father's estate. I assume, based on just the numbers we know about this would have been quite substantial inheritance indeed including much cash and real estate holdings. So the fact is that while Stephen and his wife never had any real occupation or source of major income all the many years of their faithful servitude to Watchtower, they were instead supported by his hard-working Father and Brother....and that is the point. If not for the fact that Mom, Dad, Brother left behind the rigors and full-time servitude to Watchtower and the Good News of the Kingdom there would simply be no Governing Body member Stephen Lett. He is the product of being coddled and well insulated from the reality of life most of us normally experience. It's clear that his family chose the exact opposite lifestyle as encouraged by the Organization. Stephen Lett's family did not see themselves humble, loyal or faithful enough to join the ranks of the many janitors, window cleaners and carpet cleaners that so many JW Brothers and Sisters chose to humbly live as a sacrifice to Jehovah God and the Watchtower. Again, if Stephen Lett's family had chosen to store their riches with Jehovah God and not the trappings of Satan's system then Stephen Lett would have most likely been forced to abandon his goals to reach the inner sanctum at Bethel. So basically, Stephen Lett was put into power because Satan led astray the Lett family and tempted them with the bait of lust for riches and material possessions which they seem to wholeheartedly partake of. Again, couldn't you say that Satan himself successfully schemed Stephen Lett's rise to power and thus control over the dispensing of Spiritual Food? Perhaps his admonishing to regular JW's about greed is just so the money keeps rolling into Watchtower thus coddling and enabling him throughout the end of his life as he has been treated all his younger and middle-aged years. He should remove himself as a Governing Body member in the name of honor to all those multi-generational JW's whose parents and grandparents did not become like Stephen Lett's family seeking a nice fat bank account and many material possessions! FOR SHAME! I CALL REPROACH ON JEHOVAH GOD'S NAME BY STEPHEN LETT!!

Here I thought that he probably lived the most modestly out of all the GB members, with his old suits and old ties. He's certainly storing a lot of riches. On the surface, there's nothing wrong with that but when you endorse and even give speeches about donating money to your followers, it's not a good look. As with everything Watchtower, appearances are misleading.
