Worthiness has always been a writer thing, sometimes people are worthy sometimes they’re not. In a Marvel/DC crossover Superman picked up Thor’s hammer for like 5 minutes but then couldn’t and the only answer Thor could give was “I guess in that moment you were worthy”

Well, worthiness is usually based on a lot. I remember one time they said that someone like Spider-man wasn’t able to lift it because he wouldn’t kill someone if it needed to be done, so he was unworthy.

There's a comic where T'Challa revealed that every Wakandan King has been worthy of lifting the mystical hammer, it's about their connection to the Panther God or something. Saying that their tribe has always been a friend of Asgard and not only that, T'Challa and Thor has a lot in common when it comes to the requirements of being deemed worthy by the hammer.

The first black panther was able to lift it, t’chala however had never tried but I’m sure he can the hammer refuses to strike him when thrown at him simply because he knows the first panthers blood is in him so most likely he can lift it but other than that I’d say he’s worthy personally

Keep in mind this black panther is different from comic black panther. He may have not gane through the growth to pick up the hammer just yet.

This is so inaccurate. Black panther has wielded the hammer before. He even called the hammer out of a foes hand and it came to him. T'challa proceeded to say "hello old friend"

Wasn’t there a fight between Panther and Thor where Thor threw his hammer at Panther and the hammer moved out of the way because Panther was like a close friend to the hammer

Cap and T'Challa were some of the most worthy people in the comics and have lifted Mjolnir before. So clearly the rule of "....and needs it-". Part of the spell applies here
