1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Shock Replacement Video

This video gives you some good tips and tricks to help you change out your front shocks on your 1998 Dodge Ram 2500. It helps to have an additional person helping you as getting the shock out of tight spaces requires an extra set of hands.

I do use the word strut in the video, for which I apologize as that is incorrect. It is inside a spring, but the spring isn't part of the unit.

It's really too bad you did not show how you lined up the bottom nut and bolt on the bottom of the shock at the axle when you reinstalled the new shocks. That is by far the most tricky part of the installation,   the rest is straight forward simple.

Take the mounting bolts off the master cylinder and it moves over and gives plenty of room to take the shock out. You probably shouldn't be making videos on jobs you don't know how to do correctly.
