Besides the obvious Love on the Brain comparison, this reminds me a lot of Ireland’s 2017 song, which came 13th place in the semi final...

Anyway, he and Hera have already been to ESC. It’s Hatari’s turn now!

Don't screw up, Iceland.
VOTE FOR HATARI AND WE WILL VOTE FOR YOU

He sings so well, he's so good, he's even cute, but... But...! Iceland, jury, please, think well what you will do, because that final chorus it's so gospel, very much like Austria last year, and the same formula doesn't work to years in a row, not in ESC. Plus, there's no other dark songs like Hatari's this year. They will stand out, I'm so sure about it, Hatari is so different from the average for ESC!

And Semi 1 it's turning extremely competitive this year. This song, sadly, will get lost in the show. I hope this guy can return next year, we promise that we will support him (?), but please, please! XD

SEND HATARI TO ESC!!! 😭

What if he can't love? The answer is obvious.

I love this song so much. Besides what everyone says. I understand the different genre and music preferences, and this is what my ears like to listen to. A melody, distinct instruments in the background, a great voice and a cohesive construction. It definitely needs a better staging tho!! =) But thanks despite whatever the results end up being. I deeply enjoy this song. Straight to my best Eurovision-related songs.

I foresee a Superfinal with this and Hatari. Fridrik isn‘t bad, he also has the chance of bringing Iceland back to the final, his real problem is Hatari because they are truly outstanding.

And I still think that Fridrik was robbed back in 2007, Eldur was imo one of the greatest songs ever that didn‘t made it to Eurovision.

Please send Hatari, at least their song is original!

He looks good. He'll be a great addition to the Hatari performance. 🤗

Basically every country is sending a ballad to Eurovision this year. Don’t do the same thing, Iceland!

Iceland.. look at it objectively. What is going to get you to the final? This, much like your recent entries (which didn't qualify), or something totally left-field like Hatari? Take a risk, Europe will reward you.

If you send this yawn instead of Hatari, I'll sue you for Eurovision malpractice

I can see Iceland sending this and placing 14 in the semifinal.

Friðrik Ómar er frábær maður og frábær söngvari en þetta lag er bara hrikalega leiðinlegt, vildi óska að hann hefði mætt með gott lag..

Can't the rest of the finalists just give their spot up if they wish their beloved country to prosper this year?

this was the only highlight of Semifinale 2 - the only real good voice… although song is from 90ies...

By far the best song and performance. We will have a Silvia Night car crass if we send Hatari.
