Quite a long time ago, I purchased some findings and a selection of beads to turn my broken, lost mates, pieces of jewelry into something new & usable...and I was hooked on this craft! I admit that I had very little time or inclination to learn the process from the ground up. Now semi retired and wanting to make use of the collection of findings & beads I inevitably bought at sale... I'm bouncing from the the very educational basics of materials & techniques to the actual creative stuff. I am very grateful for all your tutorials. Well done! Accompany me while I make gifts galore and a few pieces for myself. Thanks very much!

I have been watching your tutorials and thank you for posting them. I am fairly new to fiddling with jewelry and it stretches my creativity to a new level. It turns out to be much more expensive to create beading work, than painting. LOL I started by wanting to repair and then watched Gail F. her tutorials are wonderful too. Then I made chainmaile bracelet a struggle, strung necklaces memory wired bracelets about six or seven two stranded necklaces and discovered I really like memory wire for a quick fix. I broke apart chokers I had from the fifties( I used to sell jewelry on Yahoo when they had shops) vintage. I stacks of crystal necklaces that just sit there never used so I repurposed some. I also repurposed or harvested some other tight fitting necklaces and bracelets and created necklaces which was great fun. I made memory wire earrings and am not too sure I like the technique and tonight(weird hours in sleep patterns) I will make a chainmaille simple bracelet. My confidence has gone up on repairing. I also want to make s clasps. I ordered a bunch of findings on Ebay chase hammer etc. I teach pottery have a kiln wheel etc and fiddled with polymer clay which I ended up loving. I am primarily a painter and have departed for a while also crochet and knit weave cook and raised eight kids. Master of none. I love you tube. I think we should be given diplomas after watching so many tutorials. Thanks I am 71 years old it happens to the best of us!

Hi Jocelyn....thank you for your very clear and helpful videos. One question 26/28 gauge wire a bit thin for a headpin? I'm new to jewellery making so would really appreciate your advice on this matter. Thanks again...
