Catalyzer, Lancer Pro / tour, Cobb series lineups are all rods that can be found for under $100. I fish from the bank and between the 3 series I have found the rod actions that work for me. …. As far as durability goes they hold up. I’ve smacked them against trees on backcasts, stepped on them, and they’re still going. So much so that I’ve made the switch to Ark rods for multiple technique rods and then use jewel virtus rods to fill in my go to technique rods. Ark and jewel are the perfect 1-2 combo.

love carbon rods and almost exclusively fish carbon fiber. love the okuma carbon fiber rods, they are INDESTRUCTIBLE. I've caught the tip of my serrano 7'1"medium in the car door twice and the house door once! not a scratch!!!
