That really is a "proper" 40K mini, down to the fact that has its butt cheeks modelled. They didn't have to do it, but everyone is glad they did

I think it's the "I love my job" grin he's got that really sells it. It's not taking things too seriously.

This is one of those “Peak Warhammer” models for sure.
My personal one of those is the Dark Angels Interrogator Chaplain. Who, if you count all his prayer beads and armor decorations, has a total of 30 skulls on him.

Which, technically speaking, means he has more skulls physically on him than Angron does, who only has 24 skulls. (Angron has wayyy more skulls via base decoration though.)

The most 'I'd draw this mini in the corner of my math homework' Warhammer mini ever

He's got the He-Man action figure squat and everything

It's one of those minis that gets the point across that "Ah, we're not playing the good guys, are we. It's all just horrible" which I love so much. I loved the 3rd edition Daemonhunters and Witch Hunters, just absolute nightmarish art and models, all imperials. Peak 40k

I don't mind the new model at all when it comes to overall design - it's more or less the exact same thing as these classic ones, just in the current proportions and size - but the action pose it's in feels a bit odd, like it's too dynamic and actiony.

Of these mid-90s minis I've always liked the other variant more, though. This one's all safe and PG-13, while the other, holding a power sword and severed head, properly conveys the Eversor's gist of eschewing the precision and calculation of the other three temples, instead reveling in gore and mayhem.

The 54mm Inquisitor version of the Eversor is also a really cool mini, I think.

The 2021 Black Templars Castellan. Thanks for watching.

I remember reading the White Dwarf issue that included the rules for the Eversor in 3rd Ed, it was at a sleepover at my friend's house

My nine year old son is glueing some of these Chaos Marines together right now. My pile of shame has turned into an heirloom.

This one and the metal Dark Angels librarian with the sword wielded 2-handed are the 2 runners up for "show me 40k in 1 miniature).

That model and that colour-scheme are very _2000AD._

Just repainted mine Ive had since the 90's. Love it

Yup, that's a proper classic "that's warhammer right there" mini. Exactly in the way a lot of modern stuff(both good and bad) isn't.

Watchoo talkin' 'bout, Wib? The new Eversor is the original Eversor artwork made into a model and thereby "rather good"

Old 40k minis just have immaculate vibes. The guns? Look silly and nonfunctional. The Poses? Bad for the knees and back.

But damn they just look sweet.

That's also the Kudge Dredd colour scheme. He looks a bit like Judge Death actually

My brother still has this mini and still uses it on the tabletop
