I was caring for my 4 potted amarillys for about 3 years and all I got was long leaves. This winter I had enough and I decided to stop watering them and just hide them in a dark corner, which I guess they enjoyed because I when I went to check, three of them were putting out flower stalks lol

I'm at about the mid point of this video with my first Amaryllis.
Thought I'd have a little peak to see what to expect.
I grew the bulb on my window sill last year and put it into dormancy.
I'm now pacing up and down like an expectant father. 🙂
