If he believed his son was politically targeted, why wouldnt he have said that when these allegations first came out. I guarantee the president of america did not hold multiple public appearances stating he would not pardon without knowing the situation inside out, back to front, and side to side. So if it was politically motivated targeting by his OWN department of justice- he knew from the get go. So the excuse we get now, is, by logic, a complete fallacy.
