It slows us down to truly consider the concept, grammar and biblical perspective of Gods order! We love it!

My son is in challenge A and we’ve been struggling too. It’s only him and another child in class (directors daughter) and the director and I feel the same way. We’ve been scaling by only working certain pages and drilling the flash cards. But for me… it just isn’t clicking.

We started as an entire family sitting and doing the work from week 1 together… but week 2 was more difficult to do that and now week 3… we’re struggling even more.

At this point I am focusing on the cover, the essay inside the front cover and flash cards. Beyond that we are pointing out anything “familiar” and copying any work that requires that.

Following here in hopes someone can come and enlighten us all. ❤

We are starting next week with my Foundations and essentials kiddos with naturals. I’ll keep you posted!

We are foundations/essentials I was going to do it this year, but the fear crept in. I figured I’ll watch what everyone else has figured out then jump ;)

We are going to try to start doing the fractions instead of complex and see if that helps

I can see how it is beneficial, but I wish I had a better direction on what to do. Also, I HATE how the companion is online.

Not well! Very overwhelming!!! I would much rather continue with Saxon.... doesn't feel like she's really working on math as much as just reading....and trying to recognize symbols...
