Good video. But I have one comment to do to this.
- At 3:45 when you destroy those on left in the distance. There is crates with rockets around them.
- Don't destroy those crates (If they blow up the field guns it doesn't count towards your destroyer codex). In case someone have problem.
- I restarted this mission 5 times before I destroyed the field guns myself and not blow up the rocket crates.

To anyone watching in 2024: this video works, But there are a few things to consider. I was quite annoyed because I couldn't see the windmill at the start anywhere - this must have been patched so now the windmill is destroyed (at least on PS4), so it isn't clear when using a guide where to go but it's just before A.

I used another video on my first attempt and it was very good, but the game must have glitched and the field gun on the right side of the bridge just wasn't there. I never died or restarted checkpoint. Eventually, I did restart checkpoint but although the gun on the right side of the bridge spawned that time, it didn't unlock the codex.

Using this guide, I took out everything and it worked fine, in the sense that everything was where it was supposed to be, This time the bridge glitch didn't happen, but a friendly tank must have taken out the field gun to the left of the windmill at the start, because it was destroyed when I got to it. I continued anyway.

Despite ensuring I had destroyed everything as per the video, the codex didn't unlock. I backtracked to probably B, and had the same issue as the video creator had. Finally found a gun that I know for a fact I destroyed before because I was marking and counting how many there were and the codex finally unlocked.

So I don't think your allies destroying guns is an issue anymore but I do think this is still a buggy achievement that may take at least a couple of attempts.

Okay guys, I finally did it after multiple tries. Read this if you're having difficulty.
All you have to do is follow this guide WITHOUT DYING OR RESTARTING ANY CHECKPOINTS.
Dying or restarting any checkpoints will mean that the codex entry will not unlock even if you have destroyed all field guns.
Also, when he mentions the field gun behind the artillery near the church, it never even spawned for me yet I still got the codex entry. I'm not sure if there even is supposed to be field gun there or if he just thought there was, but follow the guide and blow the artillery up none the less. (Even though you have to since it's a mission objective)

For anyone still having trouble getting it remember that there are some field guns that spawn elsewhere, so Just take out as many as you can in the video, and then back track. Your comrades will tell you when there's a field gun.
I took about 29 of field guns from this video because some of them just weren't there. So i backtracked and found some more at the B objective flag. Those weren't in the video so they must be spawned at different places.

2 days. This took me 2 days. I just finally completed it using the IGN guide with pics and when I saw the codex pop up a laugh came out of me that did not sound natural. I scared myself a little... what did it for me? No deaths, no CP restarts, one run all the way through. Number 22 at the chapel to the left of the artillery just wasn't there, but somehow I got the codex anyway. Good luck gents.

3:45 the field gun in the ammo depot, there's actually 2 there side by side, make sure you destroy them without blowing up the ammo depot or you will have to restart the whole mission

this ddnt work for me, ive followed this video step by step and even got out of my tank to make sure they were destroyed but that one behind the artillery by the church yo talk about isnt even there for me .

I found out once you think you destroyed the field guns by the time you cross the bridge and you don't get the Codex entrie for German antitank tactics. You can go back and search the hole map and you'll find a field gun that was not destroyed. I found mine past the church sense it don't spon in on the left side like the video said. Once I found it I got the entrie.

If anyone is having issues maybe try making sure you tag the gun before you shoot it. This was causing me issues as the guns I wasn't tagging would still show an icon on my screen but nothing there. Hope this helps someone out.

Guys if you miss one just travel back untill you hear the guy in the tank say "field gun, right there!" And it'll be close to you, I thought I had the glitch with the church or the far distance one as I see people in comments having that issue but I thought I'd go back anyway.

For some reason another gun spawns behind you when you get to the final checkpoint.

It's best to backtrack and sweep the level to make sure you dont miss any, I then got the Codex

Sometimes two guns don't spawn at 2.34 in front of church, restart checkpoint if not until they do. Hit both directly, blowing up artillery first may make them not count. Once artillery is blown up, the guns can disappear altogether. Also, the gun at 3.45 move forward before taking D and take it out with a direct shot - again not blowing up other ordnance that may not make this gun count in your tally. Also I uninstalled patch 1.05 on PS4. At present unless extremely lucky/glitch out you won't get the codex in the next story shooting 10 planes in 30 seconds. The patch nerfed the strength of the AA gun so don't go mad and waste hours of frustration, it is officially glitched.
