This video is a bit west as misses out two crucial points. 1. Use boiling water and 2. The time needed is 1 min 50 seconds (whether 1 or 4 eggs doesn’t matter) x

Note: If you’re doing four eggs you need to be quick cracking the eggs as the first egg is in the boiling water for quite a time and ends up well done compared to the last cracked egg.

Used mine for the first time today. Cooked the eggs for two minutes. Came out just a tad overdone, but acceptable. Will probably do 1 min 50 seconds next time. Used warm water, not boiling...but that sounds like a good trick.

Misleading. It doesn't mention that you should use boiling water. The vent is fine but the overall lid fitting is not secure enough which is an issue with the potential for eggs to explode in microwave. To counter that you can try a tiny prick of the egg with a amajta' stick or similar but you need to do it gently.

From my experience the egg doesn't always pop out so neatly as shown and this more of a clean up. With all such things it's trial and error getting your preferred consistency relative to your microwaves power rating. I'd give this gadget 6/10.
