DEATH THREATS and FNATIC Bwipo Tells All Worlds 2021

Fnatic’s disappointing run at League of Legends worlds has exploded as Upset was sent home, star player Bwipo has unfollowed his own team, and now is leaving social media entirely after he claims fans were sending death threats to his girlfriend.

To say that Worlds has not gone the way Fnatic wanted would be a massive understatement. They sit at the bottom of their group with no chance of moving on, they had to send a player home in the group stage for personal reasons, and now their biggest star appears to be furious with his team’s management and is quitting social media after death threats were sent to his girlfriend.

Bwipo took to twitter to explain his actions, saying he was leaving the platform after the abuse his girlfriend has suffered at the hands of disappointed Fnatic fans, but not before he unfollowed the Fnatic org and all their management team on Twitter. Bwipo also credited his girlfriend with helping Fnatic make League of Legends Worlds in the first place in a strange series of tweets which many are taking as him throwing the rest of his team under the bus.

So you have a clearly unhappy star player in Bwipo, another player in Upset who left for personal reasons, and Fnatic fans sending players and their girlfriends death threats as their team gets ready to be eliminated from Worlds. Hopefully Fnatic can rebound from this after the event, because right now it seems like they are in danger of imploding.

Honestly thou this whole situation makes you wonder why bother have a sub player if your team is so easily dismantled and lose synergy when a single member got removed like that.

Most LCK team never have this kind of problem, heck even Faker got subbed in and out of midlane during Worlds but their team's doing fine.

I'm not trying to discredit Bean here he's doing very well in my opinion but having a team that just ignore your existence when they're winning and immediately crash because you have to replace and/Or do it exactly like your subbed teammates play like them seems like bad idea.

Sorry but these eSports stars are just soft. In every sport a team loses one of their stars and yes it has an impact but they don't melt down to this extent because their star defender isn't playing. Yes death threats are going to far but these guys are too invested in their social media lives.
Edit: I used defender as an example. So what if I used basketball? Same principles apply. GSW, lost klay despite that they still went on to play decently. Curry carried the team almost into play offs but you didn't hear him crying about having Klay out. Stop handholding these guys. They get paid to play.

This is a slightly bittersweet moment for me. I knew FNC would fail big time. Been saying it since C9, Nisqy is not a top tier mid laner for a good team. This tourney exposed him internationally, again. Bwipo literally having no hope in his bot lane was pretty sad, weak mental, you can't say that your girl was responsible for the success but can't be blamed for the failure. Death threats are way too far tho, actual pos to do that. The team has no leadership without Rekless
