Going unbeaten, while cool, is ultimately a completely meaningless achievement. The objective of football is to win, not to 'not lose'. So for me, breaking 100 points is a better achievement than going undefeated.

To win as many games as possible, you're going to have to play more offensive football which inevitably will lead to some games where the opposition gets a lucky break and manages to hold onto a lead.

Liverpool 19/20 is better than centurions. They won the league with so many games to spare. They could of had 105+ points but the last 3/4 games the players were all drunk from already celebrating a title win and they lost each one. Also 44 games unbeaten. Not only that but the year before they destroyed the centurions in the ucl

The treble winning United team isn't even the best United team, let alone the best ever. Arsenal drew 12 games in that "invincible year" and Liverpool were waaay better than that Chelsea team - 97 points, lost just 1 game and won the UCL, then backed up with 99 points and were 27wins/1 draw before losing a game that year in gameweek 29. Current City are about to do 5 from 6 Prems and probably a treble as well to be honest.
