'America will have been expecting Iranian missile attack on Israel', says Professor Michael Clarke

Hamas has praised Iran's missile attack on Israel, according to the Reuters news agency.

The group claimed in a statement that the attack, during which nearly 200 missiles were fired at Israel, was launched to avenge the deaths of three people killed in recent Israeli strikes.

Security and defence analyst Professor Michael Clarke discusses what the ramifications of the attack could be - including a potential "spike in terroristic activities" in the region.
