I am so happy with these farmhouse wood framed signs I made that was inspired by all the signs I see on Etsy! This was so simple made from some inexpensive wood from Home Depot and a couple Dollar Tree wall decals!

Supply list:
2-1x2x8 furring strips
2-2ftx2ft plywood project boards
Rustoleum wood stain in dark walnut
Rustoleum chalked paint in linen white
small finishing nails or nail gun
2 decals from the DT

I love both of the decals! Great idea because you can just peel them off and add new ones when you want a change!

Great tutorial, I like that you went through the whole process. It costs to much to buy a sign like this, why not DIY Beautiful finished sign too.

Why do so many people use "chalked paint" for these types of signs? Is it just personal preference or is there a reason?
