I met Christine in McKinney, Texas, 10 years ago, while I was waiting on her in a fitting room at a Chico’s ladies clothing store. She was warm, friendly, beautiful, and just a delightful woman. I had not yet seen Duck Dynasty at that time and put the pieces together months later. She had asked me to go get her husband, Si, so he could come and look at what she had tried on. I went and got the bearded man with the plastic tea cup in his hand and I silently wondered if “Si” was short for psychotic. 😂 I realized later after watching Duck Dynasty that it was true! 😂 I love 🇺🇸 America’s favorite Uncle. Long live Uncle Si Robertson! God bless him and his precious wife Christine.

My Papaw did the SAME thing with his tea glass, but she usually watched him so closely, he didn't have to. It used to make me SO mad. Once I grew up, I realized IT WAS HER JOY IN LIFE to be ABLE to serve him. He adored her as well. They were married 75 years and slept in the same bed every single night until near the end when they had a very few hospital stays. They left a Godly legacy that I can only hope to repeat in a small way.🧡💫
