I'll date myself. I started staying at the Flamingo when Bugsy's Pavilions were still there before the MGM (Horseshoe) fire. Was playing BJ at O'Shea's when the Strat caught fire and fell across LV Blvd. Loved the location and they comped me well. Haven't been back to Vegas in years...

This was so helpful, thank you. Come to Vegas many times and have always done MGM properties. Coming for honeymoon in early October (6-10th) and I think we’re going to try out Flamingo. With the updated Flamingo rooms, do you prefer strip view or high roller view? Kinda thinking it might be cool to have a sphere view which I think would be in the background of a HighRoller view possibly?

Love the Flamingo! Never have stayed in a habitat tower room, but they are beautiful! However, I do like the tacky decor of the older rooms.

When you do these amazing room reviews, remember there are some viewers with mobility concern who like to know the closest rooms to the valet or check in. With that being said what are the closest rooms to the valet? How far is valet from check in? My roommate has mobility concerns.

Flamingo has it all. Cheap rooms and as they say location x 3. My only complaint is the pushy folks who sell lotions by the parking garage exit. A huge spectrum from basic to suites. Best of all is da free fridge.

I've stayed many times at Flamingo. The only "bad" rooms for me are those that overlook either the pool or the rooftop at the Cromwell, both from noise.

Were these stays recent? I want to know the state of the pools at the flamingo. I’ve been there right when the pools open and they’re immaculate. I’ve read that some people have seen trash in the water and the color is gray. Please help!
