Thanks for this. Rebuilt a 2005 Toro SR4 with the B&G. Changed all the baskets and rubbers. New primer button too. It kept having hard start problems. I could hear no gas anytime I primed it. Saw another video advising to try double stacking the air filter gasket. Voila. Fixed it. I see gas coming up the emulsion tube with each hit of the primer bulb now.

some of these will kick you ass. I have one, I changed 3 carburetors and 3 primer bulbs. and that primer bulb gasket and no problem with gas tank or gas line and carb gets gas but no gas going into engine when you press primer bulb.

I'm getting no fuel up the emulsion tube. New gasket between the air filter case and carb, new gasket on carb bowl. Holding the air filter case to my ear, while assembled, I hear air coming out the gasket assembly to enter the proper carb port, but no fuel is emerging. Fuel line from the tank is good as there is fuel in the bowl. Next thought I had would be to soak the carb in carb cleaner to ensure the emulsion tube isn't stopped with old fuel gel. Thoughts?
