First Impressions of the MSI Raider GE68HX Gaming Laptop from Costco

I think it's pretty darn good for the price, with Geforce RTX 4070 graphics, Core i9 Processor, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of base storage it's really more than enough for some decent gaming.

These are some base first impressions as I have barely played anything on it yet. At least I run a benchmark!

I needed a laptop on vacation and stopped in Costco and found this guy on sale $300 off. I was debating if I should return it. One thing I don't like is the low res screen but I have to wear glasses to use it so maybe I wouldn't even notice a better one. This may be a keeper. I think it was 1300 or 1400. I can't remember exactly.

Hi I'm looking at getting this laptop any chance you can do us a video showing us how you upgraded it please 😊 also would be nice to see what we need to buy to upgrade it with etc and once you upgraded it did you need to do anything on the laptop to make it work

Old laptops had better keyboards. My first laptop from 2008 had nice keys and they were great for gaming. The thin laptop keys are tending to break.

Funnily enough, I’m currently a Costco employee however I’ll be leaving next week to move onto my dream career. With that being said, I may be picking this up before I leave and use it while I’m traveling. I can’t be missing out on space marine two! Do you have any recommendations for laptop cases? On the left side there is an icon. That port will work for USB-C but it is thunderbolt. I looked up specs, looks like it is Thunderbolt 4. Now that I zoom in, I can see Thunderbolt 4 listed on the sticker next to touchpad. I just thought I would mention it because Thunderbolt adds a lot of functionality over standard USB-C.

Hi I wanted to know if Western Digital WD_BLACK 2TB SN770 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 5, 150 MB/s - WDS200T3X0E (Amazon) works in the 2nd slot of the laptop storage? Because in one of the pics in the amazon website it says "works with PCIe one notch slots only" if not can you tell me an alternative? Thank You!
