As soon as I saw the blue light from his tail I got instant goosebumps.

Theater went nuts when this happened. When the tail started glowing there was like a collective, "oh shit!"

When i was in the theater, many people were putting their heads on their armpit as if they're sleeping or sleepy. But when the blue light appears and they saw godzilla's tail they were like raising their heads and leaning towards the cinema. And when he strikes his atomics on the big skinny muto, we died.

Oh my, I remember in the theater when this happend! A guy cheered in the back "atomic breath!" And then everyone cheered! This was the only time anything like that happened in the theater... That means it was a great movie! (Which it was, )

I knew I was in a theater full of godzilla fans when the blue hit the screen and more than half the theater cheered and hooted and screamed. I laughed and felt like a four year old again watching godzilla for the first time. Since I had never seen a godzilla movie in a movie theater before I guess it was like a first for something.

When I first saw this scene....when that tail turned blue...I knew exactly what was coming, I couldn't stop giggling, just kept screaming to myself! "They've gone back to the roots of the original!!!"

I do not know why but I teared up at this part. This scene basically said after 10yrs, Godzilla was back. Was proud to hear the audience cheer. I really hope this film crosses the $200 million dollar mark.

I live in hawaii and i had to share the theatre with a whole bunch of old japanese tourists who flew all the way here from japan to see the movie before it came out in their country. when they saw this they screamed and chanted 'Gojira!' so loud that the theatre staff threatened to kick them out if  they don't shut up hehehe i was one of the people chanting.

I remember sitting in the theaters and seeing this scene. I saw the blue light and then the tail, and the scales lighting up. I just about got up out of my seat and lost my shit. Fucking epic seeing this movie after growing up with Godzilla. I was happy with this movie, actually felt like Toho Godzilla, not that 1998 blunder that shall not be named.

i think the atomic breath and the breath of death into that Muto at the end of the movie was two of the best collective movie experiences I've had with a theater crowd!

I saw this movie with my brother, who was not a Godzilla fan, and when I saw his tail start to glow my brother had no idea what was going on, he thought he was charging up is tail to hit him or something and it was awesome to see the expression on his face win Godzilla shot his atomic breath.
