New York to Niagara Falls by Train | Amtrak Empire Service

Come with me on this 9 hour journey from New York Penn Station to Niagara Falls! It was a great opportunity to see the fall colors across New York State.

If I were to do it again, here's what I would do differently:

🧡 Sit on the left side of the train! : The train follows the Hudson River for a long time and they definitely had the better views on that side of the train.

💙 Book an earlier train: I was traveling in from Connecticut that morning so I booked a 1:20pm train, but it got dark around 5:30-6, so most of my journey it was dark outside and I didn't get to see as much.
