Ona ma 24 lata, skończyła studia podyplomowe, zna trzy języki. Lubi styl gotycki, jeździ na motorze i jest ateistką. Nie godzi się na żadne ograniczenia. Jednak środowisko, w którym żyje, muzyka, której słucha, rozmowy, które prowadzi – to wszystko nie to. Wciąż zadaje sobie pytanie – dlaczego tu jestem? On ma 54 lata. Jest sarkastycznym dyrektorem, pracoholikiem. Odniósł sukces, żyje według zasad i zgodnie z wykładnią moralną. Jest muzułmaninem, choć pije alkohol. I tak naprawdę męczy go konflikt wewnętrzny wokół ścisłego przestrzegania zasad. Martwi się, że jego życie nieubłaganie przemija. Nie czuje, że jest we właściwym dla siebie miejscu. On i ona spotykają się nocą na chodniku. Wyszli z różnych lokali, żeby zaczerpnąć świeżego powietrza. Spędzą wspólnie kilka godzin. Bardzo ważnych godzin… Ciepła, nocna opowieść o samotności i wspólnocie, poczuciu dystansu i bliskości.

Reżyser: Umut Evirgen
Turecki reżyser, scenarzysta i producent urodził się w Stambule w 1990 roku. Studiował biznes w Berkeley College i uzyskał tytuł magistra w dziedzinie filmu i telewizji na Uniwersytecie Bilgi w Stambule. W 2019 roku założył firmę produkcyjna Set Sanat Production. Jego pierwszy film krótkometrażowy „Fine Dying” (2019) był pokazywany i nagradzany na międzynarodowych festiwalach. Jego pierwszy film fabularny „I Am the Sea” miał premierę w 2020 roku i otrzymał nagrodę „Türkan Şoray” dla Obiecującej Młodej Aktorki. „Kimya / Meeting Point” to jego najnowszy film fabularny.

Turkish director, screenwriter and producer, born in Istanbul in 1990. He studied business at Berkeley College and took a master’s degree in film and television at Istanbul Bilgi University. He founded Set Sanat Production in 2019. His first short film, “Fine Dying” (2019), was shown and won awards at international festivals. His first feature film, “I Am the Sea”, premiered in 2020 and won the Türkan Şoray Promising Young Actress Award. “Kimya / Meeting Point” is his latest feature.
