Great vid! Also something that would be cool is to use blender and make a rough model for the buildings, road and sidewalk and use the raining code clip as a plane and use the shrink wrap modifier in blender to, well, shrink wrap the footage to the building. That way you could get the footage following the bump of the buildings. Render it out and composite back in. That would be pretty neat as well. Also it could give you even more freedom in the sky so you could add clouds to hide the rain code where you want and even have the code wrap around the clouds!

Nice effect!

Tip for any shot where creating this type of planar 3D overlay (applies to Projection as well, for example.) Move the anchor point to the bottom center of the first layer. Usually this makes it easier to place your first ground plane, and, when you rotate for the walls, you don't have to move the walls to align with the ground.

I didn't know about the advanced Fog. That was surprising. Never even noticed it.

Worked it out. After setting the trajectory to cone, set the radius to 0.0.

Офигенное видео, все понятно и приятно звучит, настолько понятно что можно смотреть практически без слов. Учу английский чтоб смотреть такие видео.

In repeating the code animation tutorial, is there a reason as to why not all particles fall vertically?

A great tutorial! Just because I like to question, I'm asking you, is that Hue, Saturation & Lightness effect to the outline layer necessary, since you anyways tint it to green?

ABOUT FREAKING TIME!

Is there a way to change the text in the particle emitter? Because what if you wanna use the actual Matrix font?

It won't let me add a particle simulator without a layer.

Too complex! Sorry, I didn't see the perfect effect. It is not realistic rain. Can you provide written an English article on how to do this?

This is awesome! Love your teaching style. I’m making a YouTube short tutorial with a version similar to this in After Effects. I also made the matrix rain code in after effects and made the project file available and free on my channel! Would be awesome to hear some feedback and hope it’s useful like this video!

I like the material, but you're flying through it too fast. I have to keep backtracking.
