"South Of The Border", written by Michael Carr and Jimmy Kennedy in 1939 for the film of the same name, was recorded by Frank Sinatra (with Nelson Riddle arranging and conducting) for Capitol Records on April 30, 1953 and released as a single. It was included in the album, This Is Sinatra!, released in 1956 and on the Come Fly With Me CD as a bonus track. It also appears on the box set The Complete Capitol Singles Collection . Incidently on the liner notes of This Is Sinatra!, it is erroneously attributed to Billy May. I do not own the right to the song, audio, or images contained in this video. The sound recording is administered by Kontor New Media, AdRev for a 3rd Party, EMI & Pirames International . No copyright infringement is intended. This purpose of this upload is for viewer enjoyment and education not for monetary gain.

Few men are blessed with a pure voice like Frank Sinatra had.

Sinatra and Riddle must be one of the greatest collaborations in the history of music.
