Cloud Bread: fluffy dream or bland nightmare? #summervibes

✨Recipe:
6 tbsp egg whites
2 ½ tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
¼ tsp cream of tartar

Directions:
1. Heat the oven to 300°F. In the bowl of a stand mixer, use the whip attachment to whip the egg whites on medium high until frothy.
2. Start whipping up egg whites in a dry non-greasy bowl. Slowly 1 tbsp at a time, add in the sugar. Just whip until bubbles form.
3. Sift in the cornstarch and continue to whip on high until the whites are whipped up into a glossy thick meringue that holds a peak, about 5-6 minutes.
4. If desired add a blended freeze dried dust and a drop of food colouring of choice.
5. Scoop out the meringue onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet and shape into a fluffy cloud.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes. The outside will be a light golden brown. Let cool and enjoy! 😊

I tried making cloud bread a little while ago from a vid I saw on TikTok. One of the comments said "its so gross dont make it" and i was like, they don't know what they're talking about. So i made it, and it was very eggy tasting, more of a fluffy omelette than bread 🤷‍♀️ I did not think it tasted very good honestly 🫠
