I think the point of the movie was that it was his fault for traumatizing her and that 18 year old young girls are not ready for relationships involving older men as this can really damage them. Thought the film was silly at points but still executed it’s message properly

The problem with Miller's girl is that it's a toned down rip off of a play by David Mamet called Oleana.

Tbh I expected something beautiful and teaching from this movie, but this was plain and not interesting. Throughout the movie there were nasty phrases, awful plot… In general, I expected more from this, but no.

I felt like some scenes were romanticized more for the viewers eye and not as critically depicted as necessary(?) Maybe that was the point but i found it disturbing and confusing what the movie wanted to say, because the music seemed to tell us "danger, this is dark and not alright" but then some phrases and language and scenes were unnecessary, until the end were it kinda turned around and it was clearer again that no this was in fact not okay

If she is 18 she is a adult period full stop...you can vote..join the military..amongst other things. It's always talked about hiw girls mature faster..until this happens..also it's the same type of relationship has manger at a restaurant..or place of business..or 3 months later in college..nobody says oh she is just the victim..nothing changes in three months when all of a sudden she is in college..it fcking stupid...female teacher do this all the time with younger student nothing happens...
