I have come to love this even more after becoming a father, when I was a kid I loved Madmartigan, now my heart feels for Willow, a family man on a quest purely for his sense of what's right and for the love one feels for a lost child. The scene when he finally returns to his children and his wife, man it moves me to tears.

My 10 year old nephew was blown away once they introduced Willow himself. "Wait, HE'S Willow?? He's the hero!?"

I smiled. That is indeed the central theme of the movie. That's everyone's reaction to him. He's the unlikeliest hero in the land. And he wins not by being the absolute best at everything, but by having a good heart, making friends, and having the courage to face evil with nothing but his wits.

A true hero for the ages. Modern Hollywood has all but forgotten.

Just watched this movie for the dozenth+ time on Christmas. I tear up every time I hear this theme, because the movie held so much magic for me as a child. This track is just spectacular, nostalgia or no.

An enchanting and emotional work of art. A magical score, just like all of Horner’s work. What a sad day it was when we lost James...so many symphonies left in him—he will live on forever leaving such a great legacy. I doubt we will ever see a such great work James Horner mastered through his life.

It was a tradition for me to watch this film with the family as a kid. Honestly, it was this film that made me want to go on fantasy quests and adventures. It was through this film that I discovered my love for NES games like The Legend of Zelda. Wrapped in a blanket, watching Willow. That was my childhood. I remember tearing up at moments in the film. This movie will always have a place in my heart.

Beautiful soundtrack to an amazing film. One of my favourite films of all time! This was probably the only film I ever watched over and over again at my grandparents sleepovers, me and my Nana loved it! My favourite character Willow & Hers was Madmartigan.

I was at the airport the other day and this theme randomly entered in my mind. Especially the 2:00 part. Such a beautiful, triumphant, touching piece! ( I think it can hang with some of the John Williams stuff). Side note- Willow was one of my mom's favorite movies. Maybe that's why I think so fondly of it.

Still one of the greatest movies of all time, Warwick Davis inspired so many with his single, humble role as Willow. A beautiful story and an extraordinary adventure
