As a popular JavaScript joke goes - Sometimes when I'm writing JavaScript I want to throw up my hands and say ""this is bullshit!"" but I can never remember what ""this"" refers to. While JavaScript developers can make really great things without knowing how this works, understanding fundamentals including this can come in handy and understand some weird behavior JavaScript exhibits from time to time.
The brief session aims to discuss the significance of this and explore it in depth by executing some example code snippets. Some basic understanding of JavaScript fundamentals is required as a prerequisite.
