I imagine once these got to adulthood they were no longer prayed upon as the risk of death was too great and there were a large number of easier small prey to feed on.

People keep forgetting that weight class is a thing in these games. Stego probbaly had 5-10x damage boost while the small dinos had 20x damage decrease lol.

I literally started the game yesterday drinking some refreshing ass ester, only for a suchu coming out and attacking me then staring at me. I did what any dinosaur king would do and roar at him. He allowed me to drink afterwards

Why pick a fight with any herb that has spikes or the size of a bus with weak carnos?

Never run speed stego. Always defense. You can tank alot of apex damage with the defense stego and it's still pretty quick.
