There is no limitations of backlog papers? I mean if they failed more than 4 subjects of theory papers in a semester then no year lag will happen?

If anyone gets a backlog in 7th Or 8th semester but he/she has got a job so how will he/she go for job as the criteria is he/she have to clear their backlog and then go for job?
