The 720wh battery is a bit of a surprise. Plus using a 3rd party (aka not Shimano) to manufacture it? Interesting stuff! It kind of bends the rules of: How long can you ride your ebike and who can we rely on to make the batteries? I guess this is "progression" :) Also, love the idea of the muc off tool. Trying to lube an ebike chain is a PITA with out that backpedal function. Cheers boys!

around one min in the video they say the rear end is compatible with a 27.5 or 29er? does that mean if i buy a full 29er heckler, i could throw a 27.5 as well on the rear end if i wanted to make it a MX wheel setup?

A 12 speed drivetrain is not necessary, but a 9 with 11-46 development isn't enough for modern ebiking... I'd swap 10 cog on 12 speed that's useless with 11 o 12 cog and keep 51 which helps to save battery specially when you use eco. 11-46 is too short for ebiking imho.

Your right though, the Sur Ron is a low end electric motorcycle and watching it demonstrates it's oddity in comparison with mountain biking.

Be careful with Muckoff lube tool. 2020 levos turn the motor On when you wind the Crank backwards. Unplug the battery if you don't want you fingers damaged. It's not uncommon for swing arms to brake at the kink on chain side. .It's a design fault that a lot of brands haven't worked out yet.

I turn my bike upside down all the time to clean and lube my chain.
Nothing in my cockpit is 100% tight in case of a header or crash and, put a rag down for the seat. Voila
