I found myself wanting to yell at her to cut the cucumber in half first! How could you slice cucumber after cucumber and not realize you don't have to stack and cut afterwards?

She ain't too bright. Instead of cutting them in half, she should cut it in half before putting it in the machine. They they will all come out the right said.

I have used the Presto Salad Shooter for over 35 years! I love it to grate carrots, potatoes, cheese and to slice certain veggies. For chopping veggies, I use a vegetable chopper with a catch container under it. There are many of these on Amazon to review. That would work much better for chopping the onion, bell pepper, etc. It's fast too.

If you want fine pieces, shred something, then put the shreds back in, to get a fine dice.

LOL I know you don’t need no stinking directions but if you had skimmed them you would have seen the reason the black food pusher comes apart is to provide you with a narrower slot so your food doesn’t slide all over and go sideways while cutting. At least that is what the other videos are telling me.

A friend gave me their salad shooter they don’t use anymore and I’m checking out videos to see how it works. While I did search out the instruction manual on the Internet it’s just way more fun to watch videos of people playing around with it 😆. I do really appreciate the fact that you guys got really creative and put more than just celery, carrots, cheese & cucumbers in it and also the fact that you mentioned the peppers would be perfect for stir-fry. Thank you very much for that and thank you for the video! 😄❤️

Slice the veggies in half first!! Half moons!! Then you wont have to cut them in half after they’ve been sliced with the slicer! What a novel idea!

Geez, both of you... figure out how to use the machine before making the video. Listening to him man-splain everything is annoying. He's telling her what to do while she's telling him that's not what she wants. Stopped watching at 1:45 into the video.

The salad shooter is one of the best, best, best, slicers. Do keep your finger out of there on ANY grinder, shooter... Or else. Use your senses and don't put your fingers where they don't belong while holding down of the power button!
