How Much YouTube Paid Me in One Year || income, analytics, & highest earning vids as a small creator

In this video, I discuss my yearly income from YouTube through Google Adsense. I go over, how to become monetized on YouTube, how creators earn money, my top earning videos, my analytics, how views convert to dollars, my highest and lowest earning months of the year, and my exact yearly income from YouTube. I get asked quite a bit how I support myself financially, and YouTube income is definitely part of that puzzle. Yes, running and creating are my "real" job. This is what I do to support myself, and I am fully independent financially. I'm so grateful that this is my job; thanks to YouTube and you all for making this a reality! #AllieOstrander #youtubemonetization #googleadsense

This was the most open and honest yt finance video I’ve ever watched-thanks for doing it!! I love watching your videos for inspiration but this was such a cool peak behind the curtains.

It is honestly very shocking to me that you don’t have a heck of a lot more views and subscribers. I’ve just think you are so fantastic and entertaining and to know that you have had a meeting disorder and are able to be working on recovery while running, and going through the Olympic trials is something You deserve to be rewarded for being so open about your struggles and helping so many of us. I think you do an amazing job! In terms of videos for this coming year, I would love to hear how things are going recovery wise right now and what has helped you and what has not helped you!! Thank you for being you.❤

You deserve more!!! I discovered your channel through your Olympic trial video so I guess that makes sense! I’m not much of a runner but I do share the experience of being an athlete and an EDC-D “alum” living in recovery. I really appreciate all of your content and have learned so much from you. Thank you 💜

Love your tranparency about your YouTube earnings, your training, your competitions and your dealing with a eating disorder. Your videos are inspiring, educational, and often entertaining (your facial expressions when training, your friends, your hijinks, and especially when Georgie shows up in the videos! HA!). Best of luck for an even more successful and prosperous 2024. Happy New Year, Allie O!

I’m glad to hear that you’re proud of your videos, especially the ones concerning ED. They’re extraordinarily important. I’m certain that they help other runners in like situations better understand that they’re not alone. And knowing that might just be the first step in seeking help. Yeah, you should be proud.

It also interesting to learn about how YouTube works. Just as your videos peel back the layers and uncover what it’s like to be a professional runner (super fascinating), so this video gives us a window into what it’s like to be the subject, producer, and manager behind your channel (again, super fascinating).

The money is important and unimportant in the sense that one needs money to get by, of course, but no amount of money would be sufficient to account for everything that has gone into making you the person and athlete that your channel presents.

In any case, yeah, you should be proud!

Your videos last year got me through some of the hardest times at the end of my PhD and helped me to keep going. I graduated in December but plan to keep watching your videos since I am now trying to get fit again because I stopped working out regularly for a few months. I hope you have a great 2024!
