In my opinion iron is more useful than diamonds

My List (IMO)

Coal is A tier bc its a good fuel source and easy to get but there are other fuel sources that out shine coal so A tier

Diamonds is High S tier it would be a higher tier but it feels harder to get bc of the cave update but its more needed bc update 20

Gold Is mid A tier bc it is not the best armor but its good bc you can survive the around piglins and you can find enchanted gold armor in chests so its better and you trade with them and u need it for crafting netherite

Emeralds is mid S tier bc you can trade villagers for enchanted weapons, tools, armor, enderpearls, enchanted books etc but the enchantments are usually only one and emeralds only come in like a one or 2 vein so just trade for emeralds instead of mining

Iron S tier bc its easy to get in the new and old updates and since its easy to get you can just make multiple sets of iron armor and tools its good early and late game

Lapis A tier bc you can enchant which isn't deserving of A tier but once u get level 30 you can get godly enchantments like sharpness 3 looting 2 and fire aspect its good

Redstone Low S teir bc redstone is kinda hard to learn but its really cool and useful for certain farms contraptions and just builds

Copper Is High B tier bc copper is more for building than anything else even though it does have a few crafting recipes that are useful like spyglass and brush its more for building

Ancient Debris is S tier bc it is hard to get but makes the best armor

Quartz is Low A tier bc its good for building and made for some redstone items

Nether Gold Ore Is Mid A tier but could be higher bc if you have silk touch you can use silk touch on it then smelt it for a gold ingot and since a lot spawn in the nether thats a lot lf gold

Deepslate Coal is B tier bc its just like normal coal but hardy to get in caves bc it blends in

Deepslate Copper is Low B tier same for deepslate coal but its still not too useful other than for building

Deepslate Diamonds are High A tier bc they stick out more so they are easier to find

Deepslate Emerald Low B tier bc they might be rare but they come in only one vein normal emeralds are a little easier bc they can spawn in high mountain tops

Deepslate Gold is Low A tier its easier to find since they do tend to stick out more but aren't in big veins really

Deepslate Iron is high S tier basically same for iron but if you find deepslate iron in tuff then it usually has a huge vein of like 30+ and it has raw iron blocks in the vein

Deepslate Lapis A tier its the same are normal lapis

Deepslate Redstone Low S tier it can be High A tier but since Redstone both normal and deepslate redstone can drop 4-5 normally or 5-6 with fortune 3 and it has big veins

If you use silk touch and mine Nether Gold Ore and smelt it actually turns into Gold Ingots

Coal should go with iron because you can make torches and use iron nuggets to make lanterns which look very good, especially for fantasy theme

Iron is SS+ tier. You can't get the majority of the ores without it.

Bro emerald should be lower, you're not gonna mine emerald to trade just scam Villagers. The ore is just a nice surprise but nothing too usefull

Coal is only useful in early game:

End game farms
Netherite
Glass
Food
I’ll keep going
Smelting ores
Mid game
Early game
Getting your first iron pick
Getting ingots
I’ll think I’ll keep going
Getting ore blocks linked to the ingots also linked to the ore

Emerald ore is not good. It is rare and when do we actually mine it? We just get emeralds from villagers by trading with them thats why emerald ore is C tier

Iron is better than diamonds because its used to get iron bars, buckets, shears, and even diamonds themselves

Nether gold should be a tier becauae imagine u came in nether for ancients sebris mining and brung no gold. You would go in the ancient debris mining and find lots of gold and idk why but i always forget about quartz like its nothing. And i understand that nether gold only drops nuggets but its a huge vein.

Coal deserves higher cuz its mostly used in smelting and for torches

A tier: gold, redstone (in that order)
B tier: coal, quartz, nether gold, lapis (in that order)
C tier:

F tier: copper
If we're talking the ores that you find underground
S tier: iron, diamond (you get the gist)
A tier: redstone, lapis, coal
B tier: quartz, nether gold
C tier: gold, emerald
