The Goodwood Breakfast Club is a no-cost, all-welcome motoring show where the visitors and their machines are the stars of the show.

Goodwood's description for this event was as follows: Our traditional midsummer celebration of all things pre-tax returns for another year featuring cars and bikes that were registered before January 1 1984. As time moves on, this event only gets more and more interesting. We can now welcome cars ranging from the classic line of the Jaguar E-type to working-class heroes like the Renault 5 Turbo.

I always look forward to your Goodwood videos in particular. Cars AND vintage fashion and memorabilia. Perfect 👌

Loved seeing all the Lotus Elans and the Healeys. Proud owner of a 1967 MGB-GT.

Thank you for this morning's viewing! Being one of the oldest vehicle manufacturers,
Skoda has produced some beautiful and interesting cars, and it is great that you have highlighted this one! Yay to the steam car! Nice to see one being woken up!

The Stanley Steam car was great and very quiet even when moving! The Skoda was also very nice and well looked after. A good variety of vehicles there and well worth your long drive down from Yorkshire Steph so thanks for taking us with you and showing us around. 👍👍

Lovely video again Steph. Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes indeed, steam power is fascinating, always has been. Look forward to the engine video.

A Australian Ford XC Hardtop would have to be super rare in the UK. It could be a friend for Betty.

Nice to see a Studebaker! They did make Right Hand drive models too. One of the few US makes still doing that in the 1960's!!!

The sky blue 1960 Skoda Octavia is my favourite featured in this video, Steph.

Brilliant bit of ad placement, just after the steam car drove off I got “the definition of a car may change…”

Hello Steph,
It used to take me 10 hours to drive from Dunfermline to Pagham to visit Dad at a steady 70mph. 497 miles from my door to his door . Pagham is a few minutes from Goodwood. I can't imagine driving for 10 hours at running in speed.. I never went to any shows at Goodwood while visiting and I know the opportunity has now passed. We have very few big shows up here. Lathalmond is usually good depending on the Scottish weather. Ingilston is pricey. I have turned into a"bah humbug"and hate driving in today's inconsiderate and aggressive traffic. Your site is therefore my view of classics. Thankyou.

A small road going steam engine with much the same start up procedure as a full sized loco I should think. A great variety of everything else too.
Many many years ago I got a gold seal engine put in my first car. I was in the process of dismantling the old one, had found out what was required, and it was cheaper to get a new engine than replace the required parts! Ran it in on a trip from Glasgow to York and back, getting probably the best mpg it ever got with the restricted speed! Cheers
